I was able to see a demo of Adobe Flash Catalyst at SXSW today. This is a piece of software I am extremely eager to get my hands on. It’s essentially a powerful RIA (Rich Internet Application) prototyping and development tool. It integrates seamlessly (and I mean truly seamlessly) with Photoshop and Illustrator. It allows designers to easily build interactions into interfaces (including motion) and then pass the resulting assets off to a Flex developer to get hooked into an application’s back end.
This tool will go a long way to promote the development of the web’s next generation of applications.

Adobe Flash Catalyst definitely looks intriguing. I wasn’t hip to this. Thanks!
