I’ll have some more thoughts on my first panel I’ll be sharing later today, but here are some quick notes from Everything You Know About Web Design is Wrong (with Sapient’s Dan Willis).

  • Design for specific users and specific needs (be able to identify problems so you know if you actually solve them)
  • Embrace your ignorance
  • Don’t be distracted by business models that don’t begin and end with the user
  • Don’t be distracted by technology
  • Don’t be distracted by failure (failure is an integral part of design thinking!!!
